We had the ice maker installed by a contractor who was doing other work for us. He had no trouble with the installation. It took several hours before the ice maker started to drop ice but it has been working fine so far. We are satisfied. Price was excellent, but we could not have done it ourselves... no tools and advanced age!

This was a replacement ice making unit... it installed super easy... so easy you don't even need the directions (they are detailed for those who require it). It didn't start producing ice immediately as I had hoped, but after an hour or two we had fresh ice in the bin, and a happy wife. I can't really complain!

This ice maker was easy to install and performs satisfactorily. The quantitiy of ice produced is fairly slow but because the ice is used sporadically (refrigerator is located in a community club house), the quanity is satisfactory.

The kit was very easy to install in to our new refrigerator. The instructions were pretty straight forward and it only took me about 45 minutes to complete everything including running a new water line. It is nice to have an abundance of ice at all times since I have 2 teenage boys who cannot remember to fill the ice trays. The only tricky part was the pump motor that came with the unit it did not have instructions for the pump and I had originally connected the water supply line backwards but when I realized I was not getting water in to the unit I found a diagram online to show that the flow of water comes in from the top of the pump and then flows out the bottom of the pump to the ice maker.
One thing I would recommend is that you put a inline water filter on the water supply line if it is not built in to your refrigerator.

It works and that is what counts and was less expensive than a local vender or store by over half the price
