Great little ice maker!, December 5, 2011 By TaylorWe bought this ice maker to supplement our ice supply for when we were entertaining because our refrigerator freezer ice maker couldn't keep up with the demand. This ice maker works well and as described - just pour in water like you would for a coffee maker and it starts making ice! It makes cubes quickly but it does not have a large ice cube storage bin (maybe a bit over a quart volume?) so it fills the bin rather quickly and then turns off. If you want to have a sizable quantity of ice on-hand, you need to harvest ice out of this ice maker and store it in a freezer. Also, because this ice maker is only insulated, not a freezer compartment, the ice cubes are "wet" when you harvest them, so when you put them into a freezer for storage they will tend to freeze together into clumps. We finally got into a practice where we would harvest the ice cubes out of the ice bin in this ice maker and put them into a ziplock freezer bag we would then put in our refrigerator freezer. By the time this ice maker had again filled it's ice bin, the cubes in the bag in the refrigerator freezer would have frozen completely. We take the bag out of the freezer and drop it on the counter top a few times to break the cubes apart and then dump them into an ice bin in the refrigerator freezer, then fill the bag up with the new batch of ice from this ice maker and put it back into the refrigerator freezer. Repeating this process this little ice maker made a large supply of ice for us the day before we entertained. Afterwards it is very easy to drain and dry out this ice maker so it is ready for next time!
great little machine, August 17, 2011 By Nick R
Works great;
I haven't had it for long enough yet to know if it will break in 6 months. But I will tell you it makes ice quickly, each batch of approx 10 cubes takes around 15 mins and then drops into a tray. This process continues until the tray is full.
The cube shapes are bullet (small or large size configurable). The inside of the machine is insulated but not refrigerated so if not used the ice will melt back into the water container and be re-frozen (which is not a problem).
The ice maker fits easily onto a countertop and requires no plumbing. It is easily filled with approx 1 gallon of water. It is quiet and very easy to use.
We are using it in an office environment - approx 60 employees - and we have been leaving it on 24/7. Because the cubes are made much faster than a traditional freezer installed ice maker; the ice tray refils very quickly which is helpful.

I have searched for a long time for an ice maker. We live in an RV and do not have a lot of room. This icemaker is a perfect size for an RV - be it camper, motor home, fifth wheel or pop up. It's compact size makes it easy to store and use. I keep mine under my dining room table because I do not have a lot of countwer space. The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that in the description it says it makes three sizes of ice. It really only makes two sizes. Small and Large. It took about an hour to make a full basket of ice, but just a few minutes and I saw several small ice cubes. It is not noisy and so far works like a charm. It was supposed to be delivered between 7/21 and 7/26 and arrived on 7/20. What a great company, and I would buy from them again.
Great icemaker!, March 11, 2011

We bought one of these little icemakers about seven months ago and it has really done a wonderful job for us. I usually turn it off at night and back on the next morning and there will be ice within a few minutes. We have an icemaker in our refrigerator but it seems to have a mind of it's own, works when it wants too, so that's why we purchased this and it outdoes the refrigerator several times over. I highly recommend this appliance for anyone who needs ice fast!

We ordered our ice maker after seeing one at a friends camp. We love this product. It runs smoothly and easily and doesn't take up too much counter space. This is our favorite new toy!...especially now that the holidays are here!
